Former Preston North End and Middlesbrough striker 'set to sign' for new club after release
The forward was recently let go by Rotherham United
Former Preston North End striker Jordan Hugill has reportedly found a new club.

The 34-year-old was one of 11 players released by Rotherham United this summer, following their relegation to League Two. Hugill spent three-and-a-half years with the Millers, scoring 17 goals in 129 appearances.
Now, it’s suggested that the forward is heading back to Hartlepool United - who’ve just appointed recent Rotherham boss, Lee Clark. During his time at PNE, Hugill had a 2015 loan spell at Hartlepool and scored four goals in eight outings.
On the back of that, he returned to North End and solidified a place in the first team for two-and-a-half years. He joined West Ham for a reported £10million in 2018 but only played three games for the Hammers.
Hugill had loans at Middlesbrough and QPR, before joining Norwich City permanently in 2020. He featured 44 times for the Canaries and had more loans, at West Brom and Cardiff City, while on the books at Carrow Road.
