We’re continuing the Lancashire Post’s 140th birthday celebrations by looking back at the household names that have put on Lancashire on the map.
To mark our paper’s major milestone, we’ve created galleries celebrating some of the very best things about our county.
First up we started with the legendary Lancastrians who made history over the years then we looked at the famous faces who keep our county’s name in lights today.
Now we turn our attention away from people to honour some of our biggest businesses.
Brands from every corner of industry- from food to motors to fashion- began their life here in Lancashire.
Take a look at 14 of the very best Lancashire brands next...
*Wondering why we’ve only picked 14? Well as it’s our 140th birthday, we are doing 10 galleries of 14.
