Engineers on the way to homes in Preston and Chorley left without power
Thousands of homes across Lancashire have been affected by power cuts due to Storm Boelo.
Power cuts are continuing across Lancashire as a result of Storm Boelo.

Hundreds of properties around Preston and Chorley are still unable to get electricity, as engineers work around the clock to get power up and running once again.
It comes as Electricity North West were unable to send out engineers to some regions yesterday as Storm Boelo brought 80mph winds to the county, making it impossible for repairs to safely take place.
The Met Office yesterday issued a danger to life amber warning for the storm, which is expected to continue until tomorrow.
In Preston, engineers are currently on-site across all the areas affected by power cuts.
126 properties in Whittingham are affected, along with a further 22 in Ingol and Tanterton, and 13 in Woodplumpton.
Meanwhile in Chorley, 77 homes in Eccleston are currently without power, with engineers currently on the way.
40 homes in Mawdesley; 36 homes in Heapey; 15 in Euxton; 9 in Heath Charnock; and 14 in Coppull are also affected.
On their live power cut tracker, Electricity North West have given estimated repair times of 6pm tomorrow.
This follows a “worst case” prediction made over the weekend, when the wind speeds were too high for engineers to work at height.
Engineers are actively on the way to all affected areas in Chorley. As such, it is more likely repairs will be finished later today.
