While the heavy rain and severe gales courtesy of Storm Boelo may have faded, more gales are forecast for this evening and into the early hours in Lancashire.
Earlier today (Monday, October 26) the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for wind, which currently doesn’t cover Lancashire. However, the impact of the severe gales, just off the coast, is likely to still impact some parts of the county.
The Met Office warning for wind is in place from 6pm tonight until 3am on Tuesday (October 27) morning, with strong winds likely well beyond the end of the weather warning.
