Aldi bosses want to know where you want a new supermarket in Lancashire

The retailer has a goal of 1,500 shops nationwide.

Aldi is calling on shoppers in Lancashire to help identify the best locations for new stores.

Britain’s biggest discounter is inviting customers to submit suggestions for where new Aldi stores should be opened in Lancashire. The most requested locations will be reviewed by Aldi’s team.

Aldi is investing over £370 million in new stores this year, as it works towards its long-term target of 1,500 locations nationwide.

Jonathan Neale, Managing Director of National Real Estate at Aldi UK, said: “We know how important it is for people to have access to affordable, high-quality food close to where they live, which is why we’re asking our shoppers to help us identify the communities that would benefit most from a new Aldi store.

“Opening new stores in these areas means we can bring great value to more customers, while also creating jobs and offering industry-leading pay.”

How to get involved

To nominate a town or area for consideration, customers are invited to email [email protected] and simply state the town they would like to put forward in the subject of the email.

Aldi is asking for submissions by Thursday, June 18 2026, with plans to share the results and unveil the next round of priority locations later this year. For further details on Aldi’s site requirements, visit: www.aldi.co.uk/about-aldi/property/required-towns
