Tithebarn Street, Preston. Thatched Cottages on Tithebarn Street. Lord Street Cotton Mill is seen looming in the background. The Prince's Theatre would later be built on the site of the terraced cottages. The Prince's Theatre was built by Henry Hemfey in 1882, It was initially called 'The New Gaiety Palace of Varieties'. After the theatre was demolished in the late 1960's Bucklingham Bingo went on to occupy the site. The building at far left, on the corner of Crooked Lane, survived into the 1980's.
