A touch of American razzmatazz will come to Deepdale football ground, for as Preston North End and Gillingham players run out on to the pitch they will be greeted by cheer leaders performing a routine to the club's signature tune Margie. This will be just one of three spectaculars performed by pupils of William Temple High School, Preston. The school children will also entertain spectators with a gymnastics display, and during the interval they will give a demonstration of ball skills. A group of enterprising youngsters from a Preston youth club are planning to set themselves on fire... with their do-it-yourself dance routine. Neil Farnworth's way with words has proved a winner with Preston North End Ladies soccer team. For an article written by sports writer Neil has won a set of shirts for the ladies, currently favourites to win the Women's Football Association Cup. They gathered together at the Derby Arms, Inskip, to be presented with their new T-shirts and to thank Post man Farnworth. Sabana Khan is 13-year-old and lives in Saudabad Colony, Karachi, Pakistan. She is one of the lucky ones for she is sponsored by nursery nursing students at the WR Tuson College, Preston.
