Preston

First in Preston, it’s Halloween next Saturday and Chew’s Yard is hosting an Old Skool Halloween Special called Raveyard Shift.

Starting from 8pm, this is a proper warehouse-style session with Mark Freejack and Greenbins.

The pair will be spinning Old Skool rave sounds, club classics, house, trance and dancefloor killers all night long.

Fancy dress is strongly encouraged.

Early bird tickets are still available for £8 plus a booking fee and they can be bought on Skiddle here.

Chorley

Next in Chorley, a magic week of laughter is coming to Chorley Theatre with two live shows dedicated to making audiences of all ages laugh.

First on Wednesday, Olaf Falafel brings his Stupidest Super Stupid Show straight from a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe.

On Thursday, Wacky Woody tries to find a magic trick from every continent in his show Wacky Wood’s World of Magic.

Tickets for Olaf’s show cost £12 and Wacky Woody’s £9.

South Ribble

Finally in South Ribble, Samlesbury Hall hosts a Halloween Pumpkin Fest between Monday, October 26 and Friday, October 30.

The Hall’s courtyard will be turned orange where you can pick up your perfect pumpkin to take home and carve.

The Hall itself will be host to a pumpkin hunt and Halloween quiz through the spooky rooms, not forgetting of course the ghost room and the witches’ garret in the creepy attics.

Pumpkins are priced individually whilst the pumpkin hunt sheet and quiz is available to purchase from reception.

Fancy dress is encouraged and all proceeds go to the Samlesbury Hall Charitable Trust.

You can also take a look at all the live events on in your local area via sites such as Eventbrite, Ticketmaster and Eventim.
