'We’re coming home'- The Lancashire Business Expo to return to Preston Guild Hall for 2027
Preston Guild Hall will play host to a huge business event in 2027.
Our county’s leading business networking event is returning to the place where it all began next year.
The Lancashire Business Expo, organised by Shout Network, will return to Preston Guild Hall in April 2027, after four years away.
The event, back in the place where it all started, will bring businesses from across the region together for a celebration of connections, collaboration and opportunity.
The year also marks 10 years of Shout’s Apprenticeship and Careers Expo, adding another milestone to an exciting calendar of events.

Ian Coupe, Director of Shout Network, said: “Preston Guild Hall holds a special place in our story. It’s where it all started, and we’re really excited to be bringing the Lancashire Business Expo back after four years away.
“We’ve worked with brilliant venues and built so many relationships along the way. Returning to the Guild Hall gives us the opportunity to celebrate that journey and welcome both familiar faces and businesses joining us for the first time.”
Councillor Rawlinson, Preston City Council, said: “We are delighted to welcome Shout and the Lancashire business expo to Preston Guild Hall.
“This event presents a fantastic opportunity to showcase the versatility and potential of our venue, highlighting the unique experiences we can offer.
“We are particularly excited to welcome people from across Preston and the surrounding areas back to the Guild Hall, bringing the venue to life and reinforcing its place at the heart of the local community.”

Shout says that interest in its exhibitions has built throughout 2026, culminating in a “fantastic” week of business, careers and connections in Bolton, where the team launched its 2027 calendar to the business community.
Following April’s return to Preston Guild Hall, the Liverpool Business Expo will take place in September.
October will then see the Apprenticeship and Careers Expo and North West Business Expo return to Bolton, bringing together employers, education providers, business owners and visitors.
A brand-new event is also under wraps, with an announcement planned for later this year.
As we celebrate 140 years of the Lancashire Post, we have launched a new You Tube series Drone Lancashire showcasing the county as the crow flies. Watch and subscribe here.
Ian added: “There’s plenty to look forward to in 2027. Alongside returning to Preston Guild Hall, we’ll be celebrating 10 years of the Apprenticeship and Careers Expo, building on our events in Liverpool and Bolton, and introducing something new.
“We’d love businesses and visitors to get involved, whether that’s exhibiting, becoming a partner or coming along to make new connections.”
