The gym, which has another site in Chorley, shut both last weekend leaving members in shock.

All social media feeds relating to the businesses have also been deleted.

A spokesperson told the Post that the business had shut on Saturday and ‘informed people on the Saturday’.

Another added: “There’s been no statement as to why it has closed.

“Clients are now out there looking for a new gym.”

A joint statement circulating on social media from staff of the gym read: “We are absolutely heartbroken that the memories, wins, sessions and the community has come to an end.”

It added that ‘not one of us saw this happening or wanted it to end this way’.
