Preston's SpudBros link up with superstar Jessie J for fun video
It’s not about the money money money insists SpudBros and Jessie J!
The Hot Potato Tram has been loved by Prestonians since 1955, when it first set up shop on our iconic Flag Market.
Since being taken over by the Nelson family in 2020, and then becoming SpudBros under the leadership of brothers Harley and Jacob, it has however gained global appeal.
The Spudbros social media accounts now boast 4.9 million on TikTok, 1 million on Instagram and 1 million on Facebook.
The Preston based brand has even caught the attention of some very famous faces and Spudbros took to Facebook this week to share yet another example.

Yesterday they shared a video to Facebook with world renownded British singer Jessie J alongside the caption “ Look who we bumped into 👀”.
In the video, Harley, Jacob and Jessie dance along to Jessie’s best selling sinngle Price Tag which topped the charts in 19 countries, including the UK, back in 2021.
At the start of the clip, Jacob is filming himself but shoots the camera in Jessie’s direction so she can do the appropriate move at the right time- such as smiling when the song says “smile”, frowning for “so serious” and putting shades on for “mysterious”.
The trio then just dance together and the clip ends with Jacob pulling a ‘I don’t know what’s going on’ face.
The brothers do not state where they came across Jessie J, and neither their or the singer’s social media accounts give a clue either.
SpudBros currently have seven permanent locations - in Preston, London, Liverpool, Sheffield, Blackburn, Wakefield and Portsmouth - and the background of the video does not match any of those venues.
Plenty of stars have however visited one of SpudBros’ establishments over the years.
This includes the Hollywood superstars Will Smith, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and Liam Neeson, as well as British TV personality David Potts and even Ed sheeran - sort of!
