Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse return with a fishing trip on the Ribble and heartbreaking farewell to Ted
The popular show will be saying a sad farewell to a popular member of the team as they film in Lancashire
TV favourite Mortimer and Whitehouse: Gone Fishing returns on Sunday with the beloved duo spending a day fishing along the River Ribble.
And the popular show - which returns for a ninth season - will be saying a sad farewell to a popular member of the team as they film in Lancashire.
Ted, the Patterdale terrier who shares Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse’s adventures, will be making his final appearance.

The duo’s faithful canine pal died earlier this year at the age of 13. He was originally owned by the show’s executive producer Lisa Clark who rescued him from a dogs’ home in 2013.
In his final appearance, Ted is featured taking a drink from the Ribble and playing on the riverbank.
A spokesman for the BBC said: “Bob and Paul are back and there’s time for one last fish with Ted.”
The show first aired in 2018 after both comedians suffered serious heart problems.
This week the pair opened up about their ongoing health struggles ahead of the return of the BBC2 series admitting they were both “iller than we look”.#
Whitehouse revealed he has been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. He now takes prescribed medication and has cut out sugar and alcohol.
And Mortimer says he stays fit using his home gym after a flare-up of rheumatoid arthritis and previous triple heart bypass surgery.
Meanwhile, Whitehouse this week revealed he had been forced to fight off a mugger while collecting medication for his wife near his home in North London.
