An unnamed insider alleged that Fury became increasingly intoxicated as the evening progressed and behaved in an intimidating manner toward staff, many of whom were women, while another claimed he smelled like “he’d been sick”.

However, his representative disputed this.

A spokesperson said several employees had approached the boxer to take part in playful face-offs and that some staff members later contacted him with positive messages about meeting him.

Scare City management confirmed that it was investigating the incident.

They said: “The safety and well-being of our scare actors remain our top priority, and we are investigating the matter further.”
