Plans submitted to Chorley Council show the former music shop, located within a former chapel at 38A Chapel Street, will be converted into a cafe across the ground floor with front seating area and a residential apartment across the first floor.

There will also be the creation of a rear seating area with a retractable roof and the demolition of the existing front extension.

No date has yet been given for when work will start or who the contractors undertaking the job will be.
