Barton Grange launches magical new Santa’s Grotto experience for 2026
A new Santa’s Grotto experience filled with festive magic and interactive activities is coming to Barton Grange Garden Centre this year.
The premium grotto event takes children on a thrilling Christmas journey through three different winter wonderland rooms to meet Santa and his elves.

First stop is the North Pole where Reindeer Ronnie will help little ones make reindeer food for Christmas Eve. The elves will join in the fun with a special festive dance and sing-a-long.
Then it’s time to step through the curtains into Santa’s Grotto to share Christmas wish lists and capture the moment with a keepsake photograph.
Each child then has the chance to choose their own gift from the Present Room which is brimming with toys for all ages.
The adventure then moves into Mrs Christmas’ Kitchen where children can decorate their own gingerbread house cookie to take home with them.
Blue Diamond’s Group Events Manager Rebecca Gurnett says: “Last year’s Santa’s Grotto was a huge sell-out success and the team has been working hard behind the scenes to make this year’s event even more amazing.
“From start to finish, the experience is filled with so many special moments and magical surprises. It really captures the excitement of the build-up to the big day and we can’t wait to share it with you!”
Running from Saturday November 15 to Wednesday December, 24 the new Santa’s Grotto will be located in the outdoor plant area in the heart of the Christmas light show.
To ensure the event is accessible for everyone, there will also be a number of SEN sessions in the morning and evening when the store is quieter.
