My three best things to do in Preston, Chorley & South Ribble this week
Senior reporter Aimee Seddon with her entertainment guide to three things to do this week in Preston, Chorley and South Ribble.
Preston
First in Preston, next Saturday, November 22 will be the Preston Christmas Lights Switch On.
Performing on the night will be America’s Got Talent winner, the ventriloquist Paul Zerdin; The Trilogies starring Emmerdale actor Bradley Johnson, Bank of Dave actor Nigel Passey, and singer song-writer Freddie Bolt; TikTok star Henry Oliver, Preston rapper Peggy and DLN Dance.
The free event starts at 5pm but earlier in the day, the ice rink under Preston Market’s canopy will also open at 11am and it will be there until January 4.
South Ribble
In South Ribble, a murder mystery event called ‘Silent Deadly Night’ is taking place at Farington Lodge Hotel in Leyland on Friday, November 21.
Attendees will enjoy live entertainment as well as a three course dinner.
Tickets were £55 but we believe this event may have sold out by now so look out for their next murder mystery event.
Chorley
Finally in Chorley, the highly popular ComedySportz returns to Chorley Theatre on Saturday, November 22.
This award-winning competitive comedy fun will see two teams go for gold with quick-witted gags and games inspired by your suggestions.
Tickets are still available, costing £8 for adults, £5 for concessions.
