Jet2 and Jet2holidays has announced plans to fly from Liverpool John Lennon Airport for the first time, with the airline to travel to 20 new destinations.
Lancashire holidaymakers travelling from Manchester airport have seen flights delayed and cancelled since the beginning of May and there is no end in sight with two-hour long queues being reported today (Wednesday).
