The Clarets are top of the league and unbeaten at home this season as Vincent Kompany has his side charging towards a return to the Premier League.
PNE do have previous at Turf Moor, having won 2-0 there back in 2015. That win was over Sean Dyche’s Burnley who went on to win the title and were on a nine-game unbeaten run.
Saturday’s game sees Ryan Lowe’s men come up against a Kompany side that are champions elect and have won each of their last nine games since losing to Sheffield United. If they were to win at the weekend they would seal a Championship record, but football has a funny way of working at times.
