Preston North End team news vs Wolves: Clarke makes debut, Leroy starts, Osmajic absent
Team sheets are in from Deepdale, as Milutin Osmajic not in squad.
Paul Heckingbottom has named his team for Preston North End’s first home league game of the season.
PNE make their return to Deepdale after significant improvements to their home turf over the summer, with a new hybrid pitch installed.
Harry Clarke makes his debut for North End and Léo Leroy is in from the start, as Milutin Osmajic - heavily linked with a move to Italian side Genoa - is absent, as is Odel Offiah. Lewis Gibson is among the subs after serving a one-match ban for his red card at Goodison.
As for Wolves, Kieran Trippier and Yerson Mosquera miss out with medium-term injuries picked up this week, and goalkeeper Daniel Bentley’s move to Coventry means that Jose Sa now starts in net for the newly-relegated side. Ex-PNE loanee Sam Johnstone is on the bench.
