With the final stretch of the season approaching it’s a reasonable time to reflect on the transfer business done by Preston North End.
The Lilywhites have added 16 players to their squad over the course of the campaign, with Jamal Lewis snapped up on a free after the summer transfer window shut.
North End then added three more players in January, with loan star Harrison Armstrong of course returning to Everton.
There’s still an opportunity for most of this year’s recruits to impress in the remaining games, but here is our verdict at this stage...

9. Andrija Vukcevic: 6/10
He's had some excellent games and the fact he leaves everything out there, naturally makes him a popular player. If he'd managed more than 23 league appearances the score may be higher, as Vukcevic has shown the threat he can provide with his directness and crossing. | CameraSport - Rich Linley

10. Alfie Devine: 8.5/10
Eight Championship goals for a midfielder is good going and Devine will surely be hoping to hit double figures now. He's kept himself fit and featured in all but one league match. PNE were not able to maintain their play-off push but Devine has still been a crucial figure this season, and will be dearly missed if he doesn't return. Brings hard work in abundance, has a good football brain and lovely technique. | CameraSport - Andrew Kearns

11. Lewis Dobbin: 8.5/10
The loanee has made 13 goal contributions in 32 appearances which is a top effort. With flair players like him it's easy to focus on what they don't do, but without him Preston would've desperately lacked spark this season. Has combined nicely with Devine and worked hard for the team, to go with his final third quality. | CameraSport - Rob Newell

12. Harrison Armstrong: 8/10
We'll never know what difference Armstrong could've made this season, had he stayed. He went from strength-to-strength across those 16 loan appearances and will always be fondly remembered. A classy talent whose career will be tracked by North End fans, no doubt. | CameraSport - Rich Linley
