With the final stretch of the season approaching it’s a reasonable time to reflect on the transfer business done by Preston North End.
The Lilywhites have added 16 players to their squad over the course of the campaign, with Jamal Lewis snapped up on a free after the summer transfer window shut.
North End then added three more players in January, with loan star Harrison Armstrong of course returning to Everton.
There’s still an opportunity for most of this year’s recruits to impress in the remaining games, but here is our verdict at this stage...

13. Jamal Lewis: 3/10
It was a signing to get behind given Lewis' pedigree as a player, and he had impressive back-to-back games against Sheffield Wednesday and Bristol City. But, he had a difficult afternoon at Middlesbrough - along with the team - and then a poor cameo at Blackburn Rovers. He hasn't featured since then and you'd be surprised to see him stay beyond this season, right now. | CameraSport - Richard Martin-Roberts

14. Milos Lukovic: 1/10
That score is no slight on Lukovic's ability. He was bought for £4m by Strasbourg and may go on to have an excellent career. Preston needed immediate impact in January, though, to maintain their top six charge. Lukovic has played 45 minutes to date and, while he's returned to the bench recently, you struggle to see him getting much of a look in. | CameraSport - Rich Linley

15. Callum Lang: 5/10
A number you'd certainly hope and expect to see increase as Lang's career at Preston progresses. The club record recruit assisted against Watford and Swansea, while displaying some of the positive traits Paul Heckingbottom had spoken about. But, injury struck against Oxford and it remains to be seen whether Lang features again this season - though the PNE boss hopes he will do. Pre-season is going to be vital for getting Lang in the best condition possible and giving him the platform to perform in a Preston shirt. | CameraSport - Lee Parker

16. Andrew Moran: 6.5/10
We had to wait a while for Moran to feature, but he's looked bright in the last couple of matches and time is very much on his side. It's a permanent signing and over the next few years, you hope to see him become an important player for North End. A good head on his shoulders, quality in his locker and, based off what we've seen so far, gives his all when he crosses the white line. | CameraSport - Shaun Brooks
