Preston North End boss Paul Heckingbottom is searching for the right formula.
The Lilywhites have won one of their last 12 games and dropped to 17th in the table, with four consecutive defeats suffered. Friday night represents the next opportunity for PNE to return to winning ways, as Stoke City make the trip to Deepdale.
Heckingbottom made four changes at Norwich City last weekend and it would be little surprise to see multiple, this evening. Preston will remain without Callum Lang, Ali McCann and Lewis Gibson.
Here is our predicted North End XI to start the match...

1. GK: Daniel Iversen
Set for another start, against one of his former loan clubs. | CameraSport - Rich Linley

2. RCB: Odel Offiah
Could return to right centre-back, tonight. Liam Lindsay starting against his old club wouldn't be a huge surprise, though. | CameraSport - Rich Linley

3. CB: Jordan Storey
Pretty much always starts when fit and available. Just a case of where he is deployed. | CameraSport - Rich Linley
4. LCB: Andrew Hughes
Gibson is still out so the Welshman's spot at left centre-back is in little danger.
