Troy Parrott went closest for North End in the second half but the visitors failed to register a shot on target throughout the 90 minutes.
The draw left PNE in 14th in the table, seven points away from the top six.
Here’s how we rated the players on the day...
5. Andrew Hughes - 6
Was doing alright before a groin injury forced him off. Hopefully he won't be absent for too long. Photo: CameraSport - Alex Dodd
6. Brad Potts - 7
Was an important outlet for PNE particularly in the first half as an option to get themselves further up the pitch and covered a lot of ground trying to get back to keep things tight too. Photo: CameraSport - Alex Dodd
7. Ryan Ledson - 6
Just didn't really get himself into the game much, there were opportunities to get on the ball and he seemed happy enough just to be an option rather than demanding the ball to get the visitors ticking. Photo: CameraSport - Alex Dodd
8. Alan Browne - 7
Looked to be progressive on the ball and battled hard in the middle of midfield. Came more out of his shell too when Parrott was introduced, as well as Johnson. Photo: CameraSport - Alex Dodd
