Liam Delap’s deflected cross off Rovers defender Dominic Hyam gave Ryan Lowe’s men a vital point to keep their hopes of a play-off place alive, after Sam Szmodics had opened the scoring with less than 10 minutes to go.
Here’s how we rated the players on the day...
5. Andrew Hughes - 6
Did well in the first half but was caught out a little bit for the Blackburn goal. Allowed Szmodics to cut inside onto his right foot to find the bottom corner. Photo: CameraSport - Rich Linley
6. Brad Potts - 6
Let a couple of good attacking opportunities pass him by but was solid going the other way. Rovers' forwards generally pushed beyond him to go 1v1 with Storey. Photo: Tim Markland
7. Ben Whiteman - 8
After a bad game in midweek Ben Whiteman replied with an excellent display against Rovers. He was tidy on the ball but also made some crucial tackles throughout the game. A calming presence at the base of the midfield. Photo: CameraSport - Alex Dodd
8. Daniel Johnson - 7
Although his tiredness caught up to him, according to Ryan Lowe, Johnson had a good game. Kept the ball well and buys PNE time when in possession, despite his size he's a tough man to knock off the ball. Photo: CameraSport - Rich Linley
