Liam Delap’s deflected cross off Rovers defender Dominic Hyam gave Ryan Lowe’s men a vital point to keep their hopes of a play-off place alive, after Sam Szmodics had opened the scoring with less than 10 minutes to go.
Here’s how we rated the players on the day...
13. Ali McCann - 6
Came on and did a decent job in the middle of midfield, he's a player that North End can rely on. More minutes are only a good thing for him too. Photo: CameraSport - Alex Dodd
14. Ben Woodburn - 6
Got a decent bit of running in with his cameo of 15 minutes, good energy about him but couldn't get stuck into the action too much. Photo: CameraSport - Rob Newell
15. Liam Delap - 7
As sub appearances go, helping your side get a vital point to keep their hunt for a play-off place is right up there. Used good strength and put the ball into a good area for Hyam to turn the ball into his own net. Hopefully kickstarts him for the last two games. Photo: CameraSport - Alex Dodd
