Another busy summer looks in the offing at Preston North End.
Loan players will return to their parent clubs, some senior squad members are out of contract and others could well move on.
PNE boss Paul Heckingbottom regularly says each window is an opportunity to improve and that will be the aim.
The Lilywhites spent the first half of the season firmly in the play-off mix but a poor couple of months has seen them drop into the bottom half of the table.
There are seven games left to contest and 21 points to play for but clearly, it would take an incredible run-in for PNE to put themselves back in contention.
With that in mind, we take a look at every member of Heckingbottom’s squad and where they stand heading into the the last few games, then summer 2026...

9. Robbie Brady
Brady is an excellent character and pro to have around the place, but it wouldn't be a surprise if PNE shook hands this summer given his injury-hit year. | CameraSport - Lee Parker

10. Jack Walton
It's not been plain sailing in Walton's first season at PNE but he has two years left on his contract. Unless there was to be interest, the shot-stopper will need to keep his head down and work hard, so he's ready to perform if called upon. | CameraSport - Rich Linley

11. Dai Cornell
The Welshman ended up playing most games in the absence of Daniel Iversen. A great personality but he has spent four years at PNE and, at the age of 35, fresh terms would be somewhat of a surprise. | CameraSport - Rich Linley

12. Jordan Storey
A player Heckingbottom has consistently called upon and someone you'd expect to still be in the picture next season. Storey, 28, has plenty of experience under his belt now and two years left on his contract. | CameraSport - Rich Linley
