Another busy summer looks in the offing at Preston North End.
Loan players will return to their parent clubs, some senior squad members are out of contract and others could well move on.
PNE boss Paul Heckingbottom regularly says each window is an opportunity to improve and that will be the aim.
The Lilywhites spent the first half of the season firmly in the play-off mix but a poor couple of months has seen them drop into the bottom half of the table.
There are seven games left to contest and 21 points to play for but clearly, it would take an incredible run-in for PNE to put themselves back in contention.
With that in mind, we take a look at every member of Heckingbottom’s squad and where they stand heading into the the last few games, then summer 2026...
5. Liam Lindsay
Hasn't been a regular this season so it will be interesting to see if anything transpires this summer. Valued by the manager but has 12 months left on his deal and there have been recent links to Aberdeen.

6. Ali McCann
The Northern Ireland international, 26, has remained a regular in the team when fit. His contract runs until 2029 so all the signs are he will remain an established member of the side, unless interest were to arise. | Getty Images

7. Daniel Jebbison
The Canadian has had some good moments over the loan spell and it's the most club football he's played in one season. He has two years left on his AFC Bournemouth deal. It's hard to predict what the summer will hold at this stage. If there was any interest on Preston's part, they could stand a chance. | CameraSport - Ian Cook

8. Callum Lang
It'll be a massive summer for Preston to work closely with Lang and get him in the best possible place, physically. It was a decent fee for PNE to spend on a 27-year-old and they need him on the pitch as much as possible. | CameraSport - Lee Parker
