Maxime Colin scored the only goal of the game in the first half as North End wasted chances once again.
Here’s how we rated the players on the day…
5. Brad Potts - 5
An off day for the wing back who struggled on both fronts, allowed Jordan Graham to come inside to cross and didn't create anything going forward. Photo: CameraSport - Dave Howarth
6. Ben Whiteman - 8
Did a very good job in front of the back four and made a goal-saving tackle in the first half as he covered the back three. Excellent in breaking up play and keeping the ball moving, PNE could probably do with more of his craft further forward. Photo: CameraSport - Dave Howarth
7. Alan Browne - 5
PNE just didn't get much out of the skipper on the day, despite his efforts. Was making lung-bursting runs into the channels in the second half but they're hard to turn into chances, not that they were picking him out either. Photo: CameraSport - Dave Howarth
8. Ali McCann - 5
Like Browne, McCann just didn't offer his team much on Saturday. Had a shot from the edge of the box from a well worked corner and failed to hit the target. Normally more noticeable in the tackle but a bit of a passenger on the day. Photo: CameraSport - Dave Howarth
