Morecambe's point 'should have been more'
Morecambe manager Ashvir Singh Johal found it hard to hide his frustration after they had to settle for a 2-2 draw against fellow strugglers Sutton United.
The Shrimps’ boss saw his side dominate much of Saturday’s game and take a two-goal lead through Miguel Azeez and Jake Cain.

However, some poor defending allowed the visitors back into the match as they scored two goals in as many minutes with Lewis Simper and Ashley Nadesan on target at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium.
The point lifted Morecambe to second-bottom in the National League table, level on points with the three sides above them; one of which is Sutton.
Johal said: “I am extremely disappointed not to have won the game and it feels like a loss.
“For 50 minutes we controlled the game. We knew there would be space behind them that we could exploit – and we did that – and if our decision making had been better in the final third, we could have been three or four goals up.
“There were moments where we could have got more clear-cut chances, but we made the wrong decision and they made us pay for that.
“We were in total control, then they got the penalty and scored two minutes after with a goal that was really disappointing to concede.
“We left them too much space and we were really disappointed with that because we have worked in being better in those situations over the last few weeks.
“At the end of the day, it’s a point in the right direction but it should have been more.”
