Morecambe midfielder's message to his team-mates
Toumani Diagouraga has told his Morecambe team-mates they should relish the challenge of fighting for promotion from League Two.
Four wins from five leave the Shrimps fourth in the table, two points behind Forest Green Rovers whom they meet on Tuesday.
While some Morecambe players have been used to battling at the wrong end of the division, others have promotions on their CVs.
Diagouraga falls into the latter camp, having won promotion from Leagues Two and One during a career now in its 17th season.
“We know where we are and we know there’s a chance for us,” said the 33-year-old.
“We have to enjoy the ride and keep pushing every single game.
“We just need to keep going game by game, picking up points, and we will see where that leaves us.
“We need to keep fighting for every single ball and point.
“If we keep doing that, we will have a good season.”
