Watch the grand opening of Hutton's new Chilli Castle Indian restaurant
Hutton’s new Chilli Castle restaurant has welcomed guests to its Grand Opening.
Following a soft launch in the past fortnight, owner Vijay Efraim, 30, held a celebration event on Thursday, with the resturant in Liverpool Road decked out in new lights and with special offers on food and drink, which will run all weekend. There was even a DJ and dancing after the meals were digested.
Chilli Castle replaces The Royal Indian Restaurant - formerly the Koh-i- Noor - and is the realisation of a dream for Vijay, who first worked as a kitchen porter in the restaurant four years ago, having moved from cheffing in Australia. Now he hopes to create a chain of restaurants featuring his signature dishes.

As well as traditional favourites, the menu offers the popular pie biryani and stuffed chicken.
Vijay said: “The Grand Opening was fantastic. We were really busy and people have been enjoying trying some different tastes that we offer. We’re very excited about what the future holds, and after Christmas, we’ll be looking at carrying out some work on the interior.”
The restaurant is open every day from 4pm.
