A59 Liverpool Road closed after multi-car crash near Longton
Multiple vehicles were involved in a crash on A59 Liverpool Road near Longton this evening.
Police have warned motorists to expect some congestion in the area while officers and paramedics are at the scene.
Force inspector Grant Smith said: “There are no injuries, only damage to the vehicles.
“It happened outside Embleys Nurseries & Restaurant in Liverpool Road.
“The road is closed due to a number of vehicles being involved.”
He assured the Post that the road would reopen again soon.
