The Little Sisters put home on the market
The Evening Post revealed in April that there are not enough nuns left in Preston to continue running the nursing home off Garstang Road, bringing to an end 135 years of history.

Hide AdThe building, set in four acres was constructed in 1880 and comprises 39 operational bedrooms, 15 staff bedrooms, a chapel, doctor’s surgery, common areas, tea room and conservatory. Five outbuildings provide added residential accommodation.
Shaun Skidmore of marketing company CBRE Manchester said the building “presents a number of opportunities to ensure its long-term sustainability.”
No details of price have been publicly announced.
