Something big is brewing - owner of The Balanced Bean coffee shop in Preston announces huge news
The coffee shop has announced a new bistro is brewing.
Fresh off the success of The Balanced Bean, located at 139 Brownedge Road, they will be opening a sister site in the form of a new bistro later this year.
The popular dog-friendly shop has cemented itself as a firm favourite with coffee lovers with it’s range of caffeine options and snacks including matcha flavoured iced drinks.
A spokesperson for the business said: “When I opened The Balanced Bean, I dreamed of creating a space where people could slow down, connect, and enjoy great coffee in a welcoming environment.
“Seeing so many of you walk through our doors, support our small business, and become part of our community has meant more than I can put into words.
“Now we’ve got something else brewing.
“Following the success of Balanced Bean, we’re excited to share that a brand-new bistro is coming to Lower Penwortham on the river in Autumn 2026.
“A fresh destination to eat, drink, and gather, with stunning riverside views and plenty more details to come.”
They added: “We’re also thrilled to announce that the development will include a brand new basement yoga and Pilates studio, creating a dedicated space for movement, wellbeing, and community.
“Watch this space — we can’t wait to welcome you.
“The Balanced Bean has studio availability and we’d love to hear from talented teachers interested in running their own sessions in our beautiful, supportive environment.”
