Probe after vehicle fires
Police are investigating after a double vehicle fire in Preston.
Firefighters were called to Hardcastle Road where a van and a car were on fire at the roadside skirting a field.
There were no casualties.
Firefighters from Preston used a hosereel jet with firefighting foam injected into the water to extinguish the blaze.
They also used an absorbent material to mop up diesel which had spilled.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
