Plea for help by Preston RSPCA after dog exercising tunnel damaged

Animal welfare workers in Preston have appealed for help after their premises were damaged in high winds

The RSPCA Preston and district branch in Longridge Road, Ribbleton, put out a plea after its polytunnel used for exercising dogs was damaged.

A post from Branch Admin, Tanya, on Facebook said: “Help needed.

“Our polytunnel is our only indoor enrichment area to exercise the dogs and the outer skin has ripped in the strong winds.

“Is anyone able to offer their services or advice?

"Please contact us on 01772 792553 or [email protected].”

Offers of practical help and suggestions have started to come in.

The incident comes as the RSPCA like other charities have lost vital earnings during the coronavirus restrictions.
