Tragedy as Preston dad, 50, dies after collapsing outside Tesco Express in Ribbleton

A 50-year-old Preston dad has sadly died after collapsing outside a Tesco Express last month.
Paramedics rushed to the scene in Longridge Road, Ribbleton where Robert ‘Bobby’ Ward suffered a cardiac arrest at around 7pm on October 17.
He was rushed to hospital where he sadly died a week later on October 23, surrounded by his loving family.
His daughter Tamzin, told the Post: “Despite the amazing miracle workers at the NHS, my dad unfortunately passed away on October 23 at 4.25am.
“He died peacefully surrounded by all his family and we would like to thank the staff at Tesco in Longridge Road for all their help and giving my dad five precious extra days with us."
