Youngsters in Preston had the opportunity to put their circus skills to the test over the weekend.

On Sunday, August 23, Chew’s Yard in the city centre hosted a Circus Skills Workshop with Blackpool based children’s entertainer Adrian Catch.

During two separate sessions across the day, children from across Lancashire were invited to join the master circus performer for a fun-filled interactive circus skills workshop.

Adrian, who‘s an experienced juggler, clown, plate spinner and magicician, demonstrated a variety of circus skills before giving children the opportunity to have a go themselves using real circus equipment.

Chew’s Yard says the day saw plenty of circus-themed games, laughter and hands-on participation, offering “a fantastic chance for children to try something new, build confidence and discover the excitement of the circus in a fun and supportive environment”.

A spokesperSOn for the venue told the Post: “We loved hosting children's entertainer Adrian Catch at Chew's Yard for a fantastic circus skills workshop.”
