A new £15m care home for Chorley earmarked to open early next year will bring with it the creation of 130 new jobs.

Residents will be spoilt for choice as the home will also include a cinema, hair salon, cafe, shops and an ice-cream parlour.

Inside the home, modern and comfortable décor will create a hotel feel with the interior designed and installed by Teal Health Care – a major provider to the NHS.

With more than 20 years' experience in the sector, the home was the brainchild of Gaye Clark of the Evermore group who says the focus will be on what residents can do, rather than what they can’t.

Set to provide the highest quality residential and dementia care, Astley View will open its doors to residents in early 2023.

Reservations are now being taken.

Evermore Care’s first facility – Ashton Manor in Lancaster – opened in autumn 2020 and was recently recognised as one of the top-rated care homes in the North West, having been named in the Carehome.co.uk Top 20 Care Home Awards for 2021, based on feedback from residents and their families.
