A spokesperson from Dictionarypedia commented on the findings: “In the past couple of months the British public have been tuning in every night to watch Ekin-Su and Davide become a couple whilst in the Love Island villa.

“Throughout the series, both bombshells have spoken about their heritage and love for Turkey and Italy, referring to themselves as an 'Italian stallion' and 'Turkish delight'. We have seen the couple teach each other about various aspects of Italian and Turkish culture and food, with their confession of love being spoken in Italian. This has clearly had an impact on audiences, with the findings showing that every time Love Island has aired in the last week, interest in learning the Italian and Turkish languages, have risen dramatically.”
