“Grab the popcorn, because there are some tough moments in there!”

Lancashire football freestyler turned property tycoon Liv Cooke stars in a brand new Amazon Prime series.

The latest series of Property Elevator, a five-part ‘Dragons' Den style’ property investment show is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Now in its ninth season, new this year is the arrival of 27-year-old former freestyle football world champion Liv, who is one of the ‘angel investors’.

Across the show, aspiring property entrepreneurs pitch real deals to a panel of angel investors, with funding decisions made in real time.

The prize is investment, or a joint venture with the angels themselves.

As the youngest investor on the panel, Liv promises to bring the fast, decisive and execution-led approach that took her from £0 to more than £100 million in property developments before her 27th birthday.

Speaking following the show’s release, Liv said: “I'm so proud to finally share Property Elevator with everyone. Sitting on that panel, you see very quickly who really knows their numbers and who doesn't, and there were some deals that genuinely surprised me. I came into property with nothing, so being able to back people who are where I once was means a lot to me. I'm not afraid to say no, but when the fundamentals are right I'll back you all the way. Grab the popcorn, because there are some tough moments in there!”

Viewers will see the former Woodlea Junior School, Balshaw's Church of England High School and Runshaw College pupil cut straight to the numbers, challenge pitches that don't stack up and back the entrepreneurs she believes in, the same approach that has made her one of the most talked-about names in UK property.

Liv added: “Pitching a deal is tough. Pitching it in front of a production crew and a panel of angel investors raises the stakes completely. That pressure is where you quickly see who truly understands their numbers and their strategy.

“I expect anybody pitching to know their figures, move quickly, think clearly and make bold decisions. Property doesn’t reward hesitation, and I’m not afraid to back, or challenge, deals when the fundamentals are right. I love a bit of calculated risk.”

Leyland local Liv first made her name as a teenager in freestyle football, becoming the youngest world freestyle football champion in history in 2017 and still holds seven world records.

She has since built a multi-million-pound property business through Liv Cooke Properties.

Social impact sits at the heart of her portfolio: her developments have helped house hundreds of vulnerable people, with a particular focus on those escaping domestic and sexual abuse.

She has also mentored hundreds of aspiring developers, helping them build ethical and scalable property businesses.

Liv’s appearance on Property Elevator is not her first TV role either- in 2024 she appeared in another reality show called Channel 5’s Rich House, Poor House in which the star and her ex partner swapped lives with a struggling family of four.

Other angels on the Property Elevators panel include Hayley Andrews and John Howard, bringing decades of combined experience across residential, commercial and large-scale property development.

All five episodes of Property Elevator are available to stream now on Amazon Prime Video.
