One person taken to hospital after Preston house fire
A casualty was taken to hospital after a fire broke out at a property in Preston today (March 24).

Three fire engines from Preston and Fulwood rushed to the scene in Whitby Avenue at around 8.30am.
One person was treated for suspected smoke inhalation by firefighters at the scene before being taken to hospital.
Crews used a positive pressure ventilation unit to clear the smoke from the property.
