Detectives have released new images of two men they want to speak to after a series of knifepoint robberies at shops across Preston and Chorley.

Lancashire Police launched an appeal over the weekend for help identifying the pair, who are believed to have been involved in four incidents between November 10 and 13.

Officers have now issued clearer images, including one showing a man previously seen wearing grey clothing but now without a face covering.

He is pictured carrying a branded carrier bag and investigators are keen to trace the logo.

A second image shows the other man from a different angle, revealing a logo on his top that officers are also hoping someone will recognise.

The first robbery happened at around 7.30pm on Monday, November 10 at Premier Stores on Avenham Lane, Preston, where cash and cigarettes were stolen.

Two days later, at around 7.55pm on Wednesday, November 12, two men attempted to force their way behind the counter at Vanikas on Langton Street, Preston, but fled empty-handed.

The following evening, November 13, two further robberies were reported within minutes of each other in Chorley.

One took place at the Go Local store on Brindle Street and the other at the Convenience Store on Pall Mall.
