Leyland petrol station cordoned off after car fuel leakage
A petrol station was cordoned off by police after a fuel leakage scare this afternoon.
The incident took place at Morrison's petrol station, Olympian Way, Leyland.
Emergency services were called at around 12.20pm.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "A car had just filled up and was leaking fuel onto the floor.
"We've put a cordon round the petrol station while we dealt with it."
Firefighters drained the vehicle's fuel tank.
"They drained the fuel tank and the car was recovered one-and-a-half hours ago," said the spokesperson.
