The defibrillator has been fitted outside Ingol and Tanterton Community Trust (Ingol), and staff have been trained to use it.

Siân Percival-Edwards from Heartbeat said: “More than 30,000 people suffer a cardiac arrest outside of hospital every year but less than one in ten survive.

“More people could be saved if more defibrillators were available in public places.

“We are proud to support INTACT with their Automated External Defibrillator (AED) by training staff/community members how to use the equipment effectively.”
