Cyclist (62) seriously hurt: witness appeal

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 69-year-old cyclist was left seriously injured following an accident in Whalley.

The accident happened around 12-10 pm on Sunday, May 8th, in Station Road, and the cyclist from Clitheroe was found lying in the road after a collision with a silver BMW.

PC Paul Travis, of Lancashire’s Roads Policing Unit, said: “We would like to speak to anyone with information about the collision, or who saw either the cyclist or the silver BMW shortly before they collided.”
