Two men caught 'acting suspiciously' on Ring doorbell camera in Much Hoole

Officers said the incident happened in the Green Hey area at around 3.30am this morning (March 24).

Two men were seen walking along the street before entering the driveway of a home.

After spotting the Ring doorbell the men reportedly "made a swift exit".

Residents have now been urged to check their CCTV or Ring doorbell footage and to get in touch with police if they recognise the man in the still image.

"Ensure valuables are locked away out of sight and that vehicles and front doors are locked and secure," a spokesman for Lancashire Police said.

"Faraday bags or boxes can also be used to block signals from car keys and prevent vehicles being stolen.

"Patrols have been increased in the area and enquiries are ongoing."
