Ribbleton man still wanted two months after woman is raped in Preston

A man wanted in connection with the rape of a young woman in Preston continues to elude police after more than two months on the run.

Detectives are continuing to appeal for information on the whereabouts of Michael Foster, who remains wanted in connection with a rape in the city in July.

Foster, of Hodder Brook, Ribbleton, has been wanted since a woman in her 20s reported being raped at a home in Preston in the early hours of Saturday, July 11.

But despite two previous police appeals, detectives have been unable to find him.

Foster is white, 6ft 1in tall, of slim build with short, dark-brown hair. He is clean shaven and has a regional accent.

He has links to the Ribbleton, St Matthews, Callon and Avenham areas of Preston.
