Police operation targeting shoplifting
The charges are another result for Operation Vulture, Lancashire Police’s response to shoplifting across the county, backed by Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw.
It involves dedicated officers carrying out hotspot patrols and increasing their visibility in targeted areas. The Lancashire force is also working with retailers to improve intelligence sharing, develop a better understanding of retail crime and identify more offenders.
