Police discover £17,000 in cash and Class A drugs after drugs raid at Burnley house

Two people have been arrested after Class A drugs and over £17,000 was found by police at a property in Standen Hall Drive this afternoon (Saturday).

Officers from Burnley Taskforce executed a drugs warrant in their crackdown to keeping drugs off streets and communities safe.

A spokesman for Burnley and Padiham Police said: "This afternoon the Burnley Taskforce have executed a drugs warrant at an address in the Standen Hall Drive area of the town.

"Officers have located numerous Class A drugs along with items linked to the supply of drugs have been seized along with what we would estimate to be over £17,000. Two people have been arrested and are currently in custody and will be interviewed in due course. We are working hard to take drugs off our streets and to keep our communities safe.
